Based on the Quentin Blake book this revival of the Little Angel Theatre's classic show was directed by Sarah Wright and featured the original puppets made by Lyndie Wright. The production utilised the 'black theatre' puppetry technique where the puppeteers dress entirely in black and the puppets are performed within narrow channels of light, rendering their manipulators invisible.

There were up to three puppeteers operating one character, similar to the Japanese Bunraku style, this technique requires absolute coordination between the manipulators to maintain the illusion.
